AdSense Scams
My college professor always told me that if it is too good
to be true, it probably is. This is why those of you who are
looking toward making a killing with AdSense better 'hold
your horses', or you will soon find yourself in the middle
of ugly AdSense scams.
Just as they do with any trend, AdSense scams are cashing in
on innocent AdSense users who are determined on increasing
their revenues. You may have seen ads selling "the big
AdSense secret" or "keyword lists" claiming to boost your
traffic. These scammers fool people by providing screenshots
(easily Photoshopped) or presenting testimonials (by
imaginary webmasters). They claim their products will boost
revenues by providing potential clients with keywords that
bring heavy traffic. Some scammers even directly email their
targets, offering to increase web traffic to thousands of
clicks for a fee.
You might be sorely tempted to deal with these guys,
thinking that there is not much to lose compared to the
gain. However, think again: AdSense scams are right there to
entice you then upset you in the end. There is no big secret
to boost your revenues. The keywords especially, are not
only fake, they are illegal, violating the AdSense "Terms of
Service". Speaking of illegal, there is no honest way to
direct thousands of traffic into your site.
There is no quick way to earn a buck, and you as an honest
person should know that. The only way to boost revenues is
to effectively place and design ads, and there are many free
ways to learn how to do this.
